Vmware networking need help

Hi,

I have 4 virtual hosts running on vmware workstation I also have 4 physical nics on my computer, I need to do a one to one (1 virtual machine to 1 physical nic) mapping .How do I achieve that.

Any particular reason they each require a physical NIC?

At any rate, Edit > Virtual Network Editor > Host Virtual Network Mapping. Place each NIC on a particular VMnet and then modify the virtual network settings on the VMs to the appropriate configuration.

Thanks! I will try it out. Why? Well its for my lab and all the virtual machines are servers, on a different subnets connecting with external devices.

I really wish Workstation would tag traffic for VLANs like ESX does...

Yeah, no joke. Seems like they need to blend a lot of the features/configuration of ESX with that of Workstation.
