Anyone see an issue with upgrading the following code?

From:
asa724-k8.bin
asdm-524.bin

To:
asa821-k8.bin
asdm-621.bin

Thanks!

Generally a 7.x configuration will upgrade to 8.x without any issues but you'll have to do testing first. As you're already on 7.2.x you should be able to go straight to 8.2.x. If you were running 7.0 then you'd have to go 7.0 -> 7.1 then 7.1 -> 7.2 and finally 7.2 -> 8.2.

Went from 7.2(4) to 8.2(1)11 a month ago I guess. As the other poster said, no need to hop from release to release. You can go straight to 8.2(1). Try to get the interim release (it was at release 11 when I upgraded), as a lot of bugs have been fixed. I haven't seen an issue yet. If you have a netflow collector (such as Solarwinds' Orion NPM NetFlow Module), you can now output your netflow stats from your ASA5520--If I had to guess, I'd say that why you're upgrading ;). Works like a charm.
