OptionsSlowhand Mod Posts: 5,161 ModI like the one they reference on the Funny RFCs page involving latitude and longitude embedded in DNS, if only for the sake of trying to implement the kind of protocol that would allow for the kind of "hacking" we saw in mid-90's movies like The Net where the protagonist was being physically tracked via computer-usage.
And hey, if it ever gets off the ground, we could actually take out stupid users with an orbital laser. The RFC does call for altitude, in addition to geographic location, allowing for pin-point accuracy in three dimensions. (It's like a dream come true.)
