I was wondering if anybody wants to share/join each other's LinkedIn networks. Good way to network outside this forum.

There was actually a thread about this not long ago:

I am actively trying to connect with IT Security Professionals in the town I just moved to. If anyone lives in Greenville, SC area or the Upcountry region please send a PM my way. -

tpatt100 Member Posts: 2,991 ■■■■■■■■■□K that thread was three years ago Might be a good sticky maybe?
edit: nvm im a moron did not read the right link.....
Here is mine, my connections tend to be tech recruiters, former and current coworkers. Majority of them work for national/international companies so it might help others if we join each others.

I think that's ridiculous for the most part, but I'd add CISSP, CCIE, and possibly SANS certs. -
veritas_libertas Member Posts: 5,746 ■■■■■■■■■■I think for most certs it's kinda ridiculous, but for CCIE and CISSP I can understand the urge to do that. I think I would probably would put those behind my name. Are you guys opposed to it?

ColbyG Member Posts: 1,264I had CCNP after mine for awhile, but I couldn't get into the way it looked.

I did that when I was looking for work, once I got my CISSP I got way more calls for interviews. Then when I did it on LinkedIn all my buddies copied me.....
I did add it in my email sig at work since I had a security IT position. -
tpatt100 Member Posts: 2,991 ■■■■■■■■■□I read that frame it/email sig post. I framed my MCSE back in the day but when I moved I just never got around to it. My CISSP cert is actually a pretty damn nice looking cert actually looks/feels like something professionally done.
Where are they all now?
In a binder protected in my bookcase. -
