First off, I think it is absurd for MS to charge for paper certs. We pay $125 an exam and then have to pay another $10 for a paper cert? I can understand the environmental savings.. but c'mon!

On that note, I passed MCITP:SA last week. I went into the MSP eStore to order some new swag. Nothing listed for MCITP. Emailed cust service who said I was not certified. Emailed my transcript and MCP ID. She verified and said the MCITP apparel "should" appear under my account within three weeks. WTF. Three weeks? How can it take this long?

Argh.

I've had a look at the site, saw the postage costs to anywhere outside of the US, and logged quickly off again.

People actually buy from the MCP eStore? I've never met anyone who has bought something off there.

I have gotten a couple of things off the site. They do not get new things often enough for me to be intersted in visiting more than once every few months.

i was going to buy a $7 mug at one time and a $9 shirt, then found out the postage would be $120 lol. er. NO microsoft, bad Microsoft!

that was around £60 postage to uk at the time, now its probably £90.

Just go to the launch events and with your MCPID. I have more MS clothes than I want, and I haven't bought any of them.

Shipping for a polo to my house is only $6 for UPS ground, thats a pretty standard rate. Crazy the difference in international shipping costs though

Yea, I generally buy a shirt for each cert I get.

its a third party company that runs the store and im pretty sure they are looking at redoing it. Although MS learning is slow as hell to actually do anything so who knows.
