Certified Wireless Technology Specialist...when do you have to recertify

I'm thinking about going for my CWTS cert after I get my Server+. How long does this certification last?

Good news regarding CWTS !!!
The CWTS a lifetime certification. Because CWTS is an entry-level certification no recertification is required.
CWNA certifications are valid for three years. To recertify, either pass the current PW0-104 exam, or pass either exam PW0-200 or PW0-300
Good luck with your CWTS studies.

I believe the CWTS does not expire. There seems to be an error on the CWNP page as it gives info about the CWNA exam! Perhaps send them an email to confirm...Good luck with the exam.

I think he was referring to whether or not the Wireless# was a lifetime cert, or whether it had to be continuously renewed.
@JD: I think it was lifetime as well.
[edit] Yup, it was: Wireless# Certification Requirements
I barely looked at Wireless# because of all the non-802.11 wireless technologies that it contained. Now that it's gone, I'm really interested in several of those technologies. Maybe the CWNP will have a clearance sale on Wireless# books still in their warehouse and I can pick one up cheap.

Yes, Wireless# was also a lifetime certification prior to its retirement.
I am in the process of finding out if any Wireless# Study Guides may be available at a discounted price.

I checked with CWNP and unfortunately they do not have any Wireless# Study Guides left. However, you can still purchase new and used copies from Amazon.
