Hyper-Me Banned Posts: 2,059Interesting...When logging into the Prometric Candidate History pages I noticed that I passed the first Windows 7 MCITP exam. I’m not sure if passing this exam gives me a new credential. According to this page in the Microsoft Learning Catalog it should give me a new credential : Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP): Enterprise Desktop Support Technician 7. But for now, it’s not showing (yet) on my transcript.
UPDATE : Just received an update from one of my sources over at Microsoft Learning. The results of the 71-686 are already at Prometric. Prometric is processing the results as-we-speak and they should pop up on your Prometric Candidate History within 2 weeks from now! -
Piers Member Posts: 454 ■■■□□□□□□□Has anyone else gotten results for the 685 yet? Anyone received any 686 results? mine still showed "tested":study: Office 365 70-347 / 698 later

We will likely see those mid next week, im guessing. -
wangchung Member Posts: 2 ■□□□□□□□□□Hi folks,
I'm another one who passed the 685 exam (purely by chance I think), however I am having an issue with the Prometric website. 3 days ago I could logon and see my candidate history (there was my 685 in all it's glory) and 686 was listed as 'tested', however _now_ I can no longer log onto Prometric. It claims my user id or logon information is incorrect. I also cannot use the 'retrieve password' option (just in case I had lost my mind and forgot my password in 3 days)
Has anyone else had issues logging on?
Cheers

cyxob Member Posts: 4 ■□□□□□□□□□been tested 15.10.2009
been checked as passed by prometric 71-685 06.11.2009 and by ms transcript 70-685 06.11.2009
not any score of subj
...and still waitin' for 71-686 results -
RobertKaucher Member Posts: 4,299 ■■■■■■■■■■For the 686 it still says tested for me as well. I have been having issues signing in here and there on the Prometric site. Saturday the site said "Down for schduled maintenance" when I tried to check my history. I was hoping that might mean results would be posted but as of 7:55 AM EST (-5 GMT) it looks like they are not. It looks like Linux+ results will not be posted till January, so that's an even bigger stinker.

I was hoping you could tell me what you used to study for the 70-685. I got the exam objectives off the Microsoft site, but I was wondering what you used to test yourself. I have noticed that there are no study books available for the 70-685 yet, but there are going to be a few.
Thanks! -

You will not have a new cert for two reasons:
1. You need the Windows 7 Client exam
2. They have not officially defined the requirements for the MCITP: EST 7 title yet.
