Cisco 1912 Question
cellophanecore
I have a Cisco 1912 Switch with the Cat Enterprise v9 software. I would like to use a normal IOS verison, is this possible?

Yes this is possible however you had to get hold of a "normal" ios version and you need a CCO account for this! (Must be CCIE or a partner or reseller). The enterpise edition is the same with some extra features and commands so there would be no real point in downgrading your switch.

i have access to the site so i can download any IOS. The thing that annoys me is the setup menu, is there a way to get rid of the menu driven setup?

at the menu type k for command line.

Yeah...that menu does suck.

isnt there an IOS i can put on it where i do not need to use the CLI?
tunerX
You have two choices.
1) Use the menus
2) at the main menu type k and get a CLI
I think the last available IOS is 9.00.07-EN. The 1900 has been at the EOL for a long time and no further upgrades are possible.
