BGP in my head

Hi everyoone.
I'm looking for a recommendation on reading material.
I have to learn BGP really fast. I'm a CCNA and I manage a network but I have never "played" with BGP, I will probably manage a multihomed environment and I will have to configure and maintain BGP.
Any recommendation on books with good examples/cases ?
Thanks

    Download GNS3 or Dynamips

Lots of free stuff on Cisco's site. Also Redistrubution, Route Maps, and route filters. Take it chunks at a time.
    Currently Reading

CUCM SRND 9x/10, UCCX SRND 10x, QOS SRND, SIP Trunking Guide, anything contact center related

I've seen this book mentioned in other threads to,

Amazon.com: BGP Design and Implementation (0619472051092): Randy Zhang, Micah Bartell: Books

    Little more recent.

Yeah, that's the ONE book I can't seem to find on Safari. REALLY irritating, since it is more recent than the Internet Routing Architectures book.

Cisco website has many examples of this sort of thing. Also invest in Jeff Doyle Routing TCP/IP Vol II which has multihomed examples. Tread carefully with BGP, it's a study in itself. Work closely with your colleagues and the techs at the ISP before you change anything. You
will need to do a lot of reading and spend time labbing things up.

    BGP Design & Implementation
    Internet Routing Architectures
    BGP-4 Configuration handbook

    Routing TCP\IP Vol1 & Vol2

That's what I used to study when I was hitting up the BGP exam for CCIP..... alot of theory to take in but well worth the time and effort!
