BGP in my head
Hi everyoone.
I'm looking for a recommendation on reading material.
I have to learn BGP really fast. I'm a CCNA and I manage a network but I have never "played" with BGP, I will probably manage a multihomed environment and I will have to configure and maintain BGP.
Any recommendation on books with good examples/cases ?
Thanks

Yeah, that's the ONE book I can't seem to find on Safari. REALLY irritating, since it is more recent than the Internet Routing Architectures book. -

Cisco website has many examples of this sort of thing. Also invest in Jeff Doyle Routing TCP/IP Vol II which has multihomed examples. Tread carefully with BGP, it's a study in itself. Work closely with your colleagues and the techs at the ISP before you change anything. You
will need to do a lot of reading and spend time labbing things up. -

That's what I used to study when I was hitting up the BGP exam for CCIP..... alot of theory to take in but well worth the time and effort!
