I came home today and found a wonderful gift on my door step.
Amazon.com: Windows® Internals: Including Windows Server 2008 and Windows Vista, Fifth Edition (PRO-Developer) (9780735625303): Mark Russinovich, David A. Solomon, Alex Ionescu: Books
I was just wondering if any one here has read this book (or an earlier edition) and what the most interesting thing they learned was.

I know Astorrs raved about the 4th edition. I've been wanting to check these out; I just haven't had time. -

Amazon.com: Microsoft® SQL Server® 2008 Internals (Pro - Developer) (9780735626249): Kalen Delaney, Paul S. Randal, Kimberly L. Tripp, Conor Cunningham, Adam Machanic: Books
That book is just as amazing. I'm only able to read about 7-10 pages per day due to the way I take notes http://lsc.sas.cornell.edu/Sidebars/Study_Skills_Resources/cornellsystem.pdf
I find myself recording nearly every sentence in the damn book. I'm still working on the first chapter but the relationships I am learning about between the components of SQL Server are really helping me understand certain aspects that I had only a vague grasp of before.
