Will the harder questions on the security+ be similar to questions on the CISSP?
I'm studying for the security+ now, some of the questions, on the practice tests I'm doing seem a little on the harder side.
Will the harder questions on the security+ be similar to some of the questions on the CISSP?
Example: You installed a custom monitoring service to wathc for URLs used by the Nimda worm to propagate itself, when the service detects an attack it sends an email alert.
Which type of IDS are you using? (choose 2)
a. knowledged-based IDS
b. behavior-based IDS
c. network based IDS
d. host based IDS
(the correct answer is A & D)
I got that right but it seems a little more difficult than some of the other questions, and the choose two's are usually harder than the choose 1's.
If the CISSP would not have a similar question in what way might a question about IDS be worded.
TIA

JDMurray Admin Posts: 13,092 AdminIsn't that practice item from http://www.freepracticetests.org/ ? I thought I recognized it.
And I guess the more difficult items on the Security+ could be like the easier ones on the SSCP exam, but you'll find very few CompTIA-like questions on the CISSP exam. Then again, I haven't taken the Security+ 2009 exam, so maybe the Security+ items are now more well-crafted than in previous revisions of the exam. -

Thanks!
I got that question off my exam cram cd which is suppose to be from measure up, not sure if they have a deal with freepracticetests.org too. -
JDMurray Admin Posts: 13,092 AdminThe item content at freepracticetests.org is built from user contributions, and it's possible for people to "contribute" practice questions originating from commercial sources. I don't know how closely they police that sort of thing over there.
