71-686 Results

11/16 3:30 EST (-5 GMT), still nothing. I just figured I would create a topic for us so we don't have to hijack the 685 thread any more.
Any body care to speculate as to why it's taking so long compared to the 685?

I reckon they will be here this week
I thought the results had come in.
My speculation is that they've had EST/DST style certs before, but not an EDA...and so they may be double checking theirselves on everything before its final since its a first time cert.
Having worked for a testing agency before, my guess would be that since it is a beta exam, they will check to see if there are questions that most, if not all, examinees missed and they will exclude those questions from the scoring. This is of benefit to us. I wouldn't be surprised since the 686 exam sounded harder than the 685 exam. I decided not to take it since I'd like to stick to the engineering/administration side of the IT house. A co-worker took them both the same day and stated that the 686 exam was more difficult and he was SCCM-certified too.
I agree but they definitely emphasized R2/SP2 knowledge instead of general SCCM knowledge.
luckily, I just checked prometric before coming on here, an end of day check, and knew that I hadn't gotten a result yet..
COME ON PROMETRIC! POST THE BL**DY RESULTS!!!

I don't know, it's been 2 weeks and I still show tested. I'm not really worried about it though. I mean seriously, it should be 8 weeks after the beta period is over. That was October 16th right? So, that was only 5 weeks ago. I'm surprised that we got the 685 results so quickly. I really wouldn't be surprised if the 686 results don't come in until early/mid December.
That beings said, I also would not be surprised if results came in later today either.... I'm just saying, don't get your hopes up for anything this week.

Congrats to those who passed!!!!!!!
bah
Huh... Well, I guess they just need some of my pessimistic attitude to get moving on the results.
*I wonder how long before the results get posted on the MS transcript. Seems like teh 685 were instantly on there..... Unless I didn't really pass....*
Another MCITP to add to the list, but the real cake winner will be here in a couple three weeks when i finish the EA.
