The Dells that come with Ubuntu are a lot cheaper at almost half the price. Wonder why their prices are so high with a free OS.

Not sure. The hardware is a little better I believe.

Yeah they look to be better hardware, but not twice as good to justify the double price tag. I'm no hardware expert by far though so take that with a grain of salt.

No I agree.

I think it could be the sec of people. This is being aimed at studuents/developers/admins. Those dell boxes were being aimed at more casual/thrifty users. Maybe they think developers have more money and students can use their parents credit cards
