Hi,

If RIPv1 updates can only hold a maximum of 25 entries, does this mean the maximum size of the RIP routing table will be impacted?

that is only for the packet and not the routers RIP database so if there is more routes it would just send more update packets.

So when the 30 second timer expires it will send 2 updates instead of one?

yes when the update timer expires it will send all the routes in the database in how many packets it takes to fit. Except the routes it received from that interface. Debug ip rip and you can watch it happen
