Good question - I received a free exam voucher because the first time I went to take the exam, Prometric's test servers were down (lesson learned: call morning of the exam and confirm the servers work!).

I'm in a transition now and my next cert will be determined by what the needs are in my next job.

Looking at my experience, I am debating between Network+ (that combined with A+ would go towards MCSA) or Linux+. Either cert would be in line with my current experience.

I'd like to balance an MS cert with a non MS cert if possible.
