Eigrp

Hey guys

I am unable to configure EIGRP between a 2600 and a 2513 series router. The 2600 takes all the EIGRP configs fine. The 2500 take all the configs while you are configuring EGIRP but once done and I run a sh run, no EIGRP configs appear. Had this issue before when i had my lab firs setup and had to run OSPF instead. Any suggestions?????

Thanks

That is a very old IOS, my suggestion would be to get a more recent IOS and see if it works properly.

It should work. EIGRP is supported by 11.X. How are you configuring EIGRP? More importantly why are you configuring eigrp? Can you use another routing protocol?

shot in the dark, do you have the ip routing command entered?
    * sorry just saw you had ospf happening,

try seeing if the oldschool IGRP works

That was what I was thinking as well but if EIGRP works, IGRP will not. 11.1 should support EIGRP according to cisco.

I can use any other routing protocol. Like I mentioned OSPF works fine. I just want to use EIGRP for practice purposes.

Ok. I thought this was for something else. Well see if you can you IGRP but I highly doubt it will work?

I think you will be limited to IGRP only with that IOS.

Can you redistribute into igrp from eigrp?

Also this leads me to believe that it should support eigrp on 11.X

It's an OLD OLD OLD IP/IPX/AT/IBM support IOS that required 8Meg DRAM and 4 MEG FLASH. Sorry -- no room for EIGRP in that feature set.
