CCNP IE home lab
Hi, I have decided to finaly push for the CCNP. I have purchased the IE bootcamp class on demand (brilliant) but was wondering if someone could help me out re the home lab setup. Basically I have the routers covered but the Labs require a nice 4 L3 switches. What are the reasonable options??

You can get 3560 or 3750 switches and do all the IE tasks.
If you get 3550 switches, you'll save some money, but you'll be missing a few things.
You can try a mix 'n match of 3550 and 3560/3750 switches or you can go cheap with 3550 switches and fill in with rack rental.:mike: Cisco Certifications -- Collect the Entire Set! -

I think i will start with the 3550s then expand from there. Will the extra features be missed in the CCNP?? -

For the price difference between a 3560/3750 and a 3550, probably not.Will the extra features be missed in the CCNP??
