Passed my ICND2!

rodan07rodan07 Member Posts: 22 ■□□□□□□□□□
It was hard... I spent twenty-four minutes on one question. Phew. It was irritating, then it was scary. The clock kept ticking, but the questions kept coming... I finished with less than three minutes to spare. Got an 880.

My family made a big fuss... bought me balloons and cake.

Now, on to MCSA...

I read the first of the official CCNA books, then I signed up for Cisco Networking Academy and completed that. Then, I prepped for ICND1 for a month and passed that, and another month of prep got me ready for ICND2.

    It took a long time!

There were frictions involved. My wife works 50+ hours a week, and we have a six-year-old. It was pretty irritating for me to be staring into a laptop when my woman wanted to talk to me (which was often).

If I went to bed early, it was irritating for her also. If I stayed up late to talk to her, that made it difficult for me to get up early to study. It often wound up where I'd go to bed at 9:00 one night and 11:00 the next, and keep repeating that pattern - one night good for marital things, the next night good for study.

I know what you mean. It is good when your significant other understands the importance. They may not want to hear anything about what you are doing or what it consists of. At least I know my wife doesn't. She has asked before, I said about one sentence and she says ok, that's enough I won't be able to understand. LOL. But, she is understanding and has never complained about any money that I have spent toward my studies.
