Is that litterally what it says? And did you contact CiscoPress or the author of the book, or did you just figured our exam our free so CiscoPress must be right

The correct answer is 2000 meters. You could try a search in google i.e.:

The cisco press books for the new series are filled with errors. Even some of the powerpoint presentations prepared for the instructors aren't correct. If you're in the academy, the online curriculum is almost always correct, since they can update it on the fly.

The 1000 meters is "litterally" in the book via a table. I have emailed the author, and I will post his responce once I receive it.

unfortunately I am not in NetAcad. I am using the latest Cisco Prep Library by McQuerry.
