Taking 291 Tomorrow at 1pm.

I am going to attempt this test tomorrow at 1. So far i have watched CBT Nuggets twice. Read the exam cram book and browsed through the MS Press book. Read the prep logic guide twice, and been using transcender as well. Been studying on and off since i took the 290.

Really tried to focus on WSUS and RRAS stuff since i hear those are hit pretty heavily.

Any last tips or advice for me before i take this exam.

Will post my pass tomorrow hopefully. Wish a brother luck

What areas have you scored the lowest on in Transcender? I would say review those areas and relax.

3 Hours and counting until the exam. Had to drive back to my home town which is a hour away. Sitting at a friends house currently reading up and some stuff and taking my transcender before the exam.

Hoping to finally be a MCSA today.

    Well here goes my story.

So i currently live in NJ and commuted into PA to take my exam since none of the testing centers where available until Jan. Got to the testing center and they denied my green card as a valid form of ID. This Credit card green card combo has been used for all my tests i have taken. My drivers license is valid in the computer but just not valid on the card so that was a no go.

So i chatted with the test admin on the site and she said i could come back today if i could get a ID in order. Since i have not changed my PA license to NJ i just went to the DMV and had a new license made. Got back to the tests center all irritated and was finally approved to take the exam.

Got 53 questions a few drag and drops and at least 6 sims. Failed the exam and had to drive the hour home. Hope this dont violate NDA.

Had one bar almost perfect but all the rest where below half.

Gonna hit the books and work out some more stuff in the MS Press book.
Was nice getting a shot to see what the exam was like. Definately the hardest exam i have taken out of my current certifications.

Well time to relax for tonight and then hit the books and CBT for another couple of weeks and go take it again.

    Hard luck ULWiz,
Out of all (6) exams i have done i found this one of the hardest
and took me a second shot to pass. If i rememeber correctly there is a lot of stuff to cover including my favorate RRAS. Since you have now had a taste of the test you should know exactly what you need to do.
I found reading the 'cram exam' book the week before the exam helped give me the edge.
    Good luck
