So glad I saw this hours after taking the exam. Also, notice the free retake has been extended through 1/31/10, but you must sit the first take by 1/15/10.

I am happy for this as I failed the first time at the end of December beign rushed after starting a new job. I am now in the efforts of studying the topics I struggled on and studying harder to get this test knocked out mid Jan. so I don't have to pay for another class( I paid the $3500 for the VCP 3.0 out out of my own pocket).

Finishing the Mastering VMware vSphere 4 book in the next few days.

Wish there was more study material out there, reading alot of techie blogs and such but nothing like Transcenders out there yet. Only one is out there and it is **** software(TK) and I don't want a test like that. I have found alot of good forums and currently finding these sites very useful. (First link is my favorite)

Trainsignal has a good 18 hour train video and then the VTSP might help you too ... But to be perfectly honest with you, even though you will hate to hear that (considering the amount available), the best study material is the PDF library on vmware.com (plus lots of test installs and working with it).

I am in complete agreement Gomjaba. I have the TrainSignal 18 hours of video for vSphere and watched them all. I am studying the pdf's alot. They are the best reference at this point in time.
