Will NM-1E2W's work in a 2620XM? I was thinking of running one in each of my two 2620XM's and connecting them via crossover T1 cable to simulate vlans and how to configure them.... will this work?

This may help:

Optionstiersten Member Posts: 4,505Whilst the combo NMs don't work at all, the FE NM does work in a 2600XM even though they're not officially supported or listed as compatible. The built in FE port in a 2600XM uses a similar Ethernet chip so it already has the necessary driver built into IOS. I guess there is some NM bus issue or just plain product series differentiation going on here.
Obviously YMMV and don't complain to me if it doesn't work.
