Anyone keeping up with their ECEs?

Just like the title says. I recently added 40 ECE points. A month away from my deadline. I had forgotten all about them.

For some reason I don't think people put much importance to ECEs. At least I have never seen a thread about it or anyone talking about it online.

I haven't, though I have given a lecture on ethical hacking and read a couple security related books. I haven't seen a lot about the submission process and how it all works. Just as soon let it expire and take it again if needed.

I haven't really looked at all the details so I am not sure if I keep up with the ECEs, if I will just keep the v5 since it's the one I took or if I get a new v6 cert.

I go into the ECE system every now and then to update my hours. I hate the system, but it is a necessary evil. I keep track of all my credits for my CISSP, so I just copy them for my C|EH.

I all ready have 171 credits for my CISSP in just one year. A lot of self studying. :) I just put in the bare minimum for the C|EH.
