Mine took 4 weeks, but that included xmas period. ISC2 give the usual stock answer 4-6 weeks lolif I say something that can be taken one of two ways and one of them offends, I usually mean the other one :-) -
JDMurray Admin Posts: 13,092 AdminIf you don't have it after three weeks then give registrar@isc2.org a prod and you might get your results told to you before the official email is sent.

Hi,
Has anyone else sent their Endorsements in the same period ?
Also, any ideas / reference as to how many CISSPs are there in the world ? -

The ISC2 site states around 60k(rough count) worldwide, they break it down by country and have around 40k in the US around 3k in the uk, the rest around the world.
I assume those figures dont included any members not in good standing.if I say something that can be taken one of two ways and one of them offends, I usually mean the other one :-) -
JDMurray Admin Posts: 13,092 AdminIf you have an account on www.isc2.org you can get the official member counts. The total number of CISSPs is now over 65K. All other (ISC)2's certs are way below that.

Failedagain: 644 ain't too bad for what is a very tricky exam. I can feel your pain as I took it multiple times before passing myself. It is a tough exam no doubt about it, and I have the blood, sweat, and tears to show for it.
Keep your frame of mind that you WILL pass, and it will come to pass!
Best of luck! -

gladiatorkev Member Posts: 11 ■□□□□□□□□□Just went through the InfosecurityPro magazine.
It seems they are planning to move to Computer based examinations ..Finally !!!!
They have mentioned to move the CSSLP to computer based examination by mid-2010 and then the CISSP over the next three years.!
This will really to schedule the exams faster and get the results faster..!
Currently the wait period for the results is really very high..! I mean 6-8 weeks for the test results, then 3-4 weeks for the endorsement / certification confirmation and finally further 2 weeks for the certificate to come..!
This is really an area they can improve on..!

JDMurray Admin Posts: 13,092 AdminYes, no reason not to order the free CISSP lapel pin. I've got one for the SSCP too. I wear them on my collar like the rank insignias from ST:TNG.
