How do I reset/recover the password on a 3016 switch?

I just got my first piece of genuine cisco hardware for free. Its an almost useless 3016 switch. It will eventually be accompanied by 2950's, 3640's etc. The 3016 switch I was given has a password. I dont know it. How can I recover it? The recovery process on the 3016 is slightly different than the 2950's and similar because there is no mode button on the front. Does anyone know how to do it? Thanks for the help!
