Man I'd work at a baby seal clubbing factory if the money was right.

    Haha, my thoughts exactly.

If the money was right, and I was getting valuable experience with tech I was interested in... I wouldn't let my own morality issues get in the way. It's not like I am forcing these people to gamble, buy adult toys, etc.

If someone is going to be making money by working in these companies various IT roles, it might as well be me.

Are you kidding me?? Have you seen the females that they have on that network?? Oh, you must be one of those people...

haha, i can see how that would come across wrong, what i meant was an MSNBC fan

Yes I have seen the women and they are pretty hot no matter what flavor you want them in. With that said I could still nvr support them and yes I'm one of those people and proud of it. Born in this country and 10 years in the military gives me that right

I can't believe all the people opposed to gambling. It's not the practice of gambling thats the problem. Its the people who choose to over indulge. Same for alcohol, *** and any other Legal addiction. I respect the way you feel and that you stood up for it by not talking the job, but in my opinion, you made the wrong choice.

I gamble alot and have seen alot of what people do to themselves in the gambling community, but hence I said they do it to themselves. Gambling isn't evil, the sick people who take the rent and grocery money and gamble are evil.

    Oh, well.

I guess that would prevent one from living in places like Las Vegas, Reno, or parts of Atlantic City. It is hard to find a place in Vegas where people are not gambling even in the airport.

Hmm do baby seals go clubbing at a Karaoke bar, they squeal so much?

I'm not necessarily opposed to it, in a legal sense (although I don't think the government should be in the business of encouraging it). I guess I would rather work at place I thought was, in some small way, making the world better. Not in any sort of earthy-crunchy, save the whales way, but at least making a product or providing a service that adds to the sum total of human happiness.

What it really came down to was the fact me and my wife are expecting our first son in the next few months. In thinking about whether or not I would be proud to tell him what I do when he's old enough to start asking questions about it, I was forced to say I wouldn't be if I took the job. And that's really what it's all about, isn't it?
