I mus say that was the easiest test i have ever taken. Although i was only thrown off by one question on the VM i passed with a 916. Is the maximum 1000?
Thanks Corey

It actually happens all the time. The only issue with that is you can bet 99% of the time they used brain **** to obtain said score. And to make it even more obvious, they complete the exam in like 15 minutes!
I ran across a forum board while looking for information where a guy sat MCITP:EA in 9 business days, scoring 1000 on each exam, or so he said. I don't know what was worse, the center for allowing him to do it, or said person cheating their way through the certs.MCTS: Windows Vista, Configuration

desiredforsome Member Posts: 21 ■□□□□□□□□□I assure you that i did not use brain ****, Otherweise i may have recieved a perfect score. Although i can tell you. I completed the enire exam in under an hour. Reason being in all honesty. I work in medical as head of IT. and just migrated all our server 2003 to server 2008 and server 2008 r2 and new install of exchange 2010. and ran into MANY issues from the rpevious IT director. and had to use everthing i learned many times as well as stuff from the other books.
After being stuck at work till 2am a few times a week going into that test seemed alot easier. It seemed like i took the practice tests after the labs and the reading and did ok. After all that at work the tests were aced from first hand experience.
So i belive it is possible for someone to pass taht exam in a short period of time. My time was consumed during the 2nd lab when i was looking for something tat was poorly worded i belive that i got wrong due ot microsoft not being able to pass the englihs languge.
It asked me to assign auditing for logon events. well in the GPO there are 2 one for account logon and for logon. I only enabled logon. Becuase it did not specify accoutn logon even though it said it was for a domain controller which would be network. So they should have specified they wanteed to monitor the network logins.
Wouldnt you agree?Thanks Corey

Oh really? Yeah I'd say a perfect score on that many exams in such a short time would bring great suspicion. Having a certification is a big plus and separates you from those with similar experience that don't have the certification. Employers are aware brain **** exist, and therefore they challenge your skills. In most support roles (such as desktop support, help desk etc) they may not challenge your skills that much. But in most systems administration and networking roles, your skills are usually greatly challenged prior to hire. If they have nothing to backup their certifications then they won't get the job anyway.Knowledge is being an Architect, no matter what field..... -

crrussell3 Member Posts: 561desiredforsome I was in no way insinuating that you used brain **** at all, so please don't think that. I was just giving information that I have seen on some sites regarding the use of brain **** and the scores they receive.
Technito I agree. With standard support roles, their knowledge and certs maynot be as challenged at first like they are with Network/Sys admin positions. I can attest for that having just got a Network/Sys Admin position that I started Monday.MCTS: Windows Vista, Configuration
