640 for no reason...

Alright, I have not done a cert in a while. So I scheduled the 640 exam for Saturday and read the entire Microsoft press book and watched CBT nuggets video and ran a few labs and had a few beers. I feel a little uneasy about RMS but I plan to put a couple more lab hours into that in the next couple of days.
I know ther was an ugprade exam, but I sorta wana try the sim based exam and since my job pays for it I thought it's no big thing to do that two exams. (you know, Microsoft testing for fun!)
Think I could knock out the MCITP: Server admin cert by Jan?

I would have been asleep after the first chapter!
Not sure, I think it comes down to your own personally study ability and how much time you have to spend on it all.
But your looking at an exam a week at the moment which is pretty heavy.EA Path - 70-643 - Passed - 70-680 - Passed - 70-647 - To Complete -

If you already have the MCSE than you only need to certs to get the MCITP:EA.

Well, technically, three. 70-649 to get to MCTS on Server 2008, then 70-647 for the Server 2008 EA exam and then a client. My suggestion would be 70-680.Christopher Parker

Daniel333 Member Posts: 2,077 ■■■■■■□□□□I know I can do the upgrade exam. But I wanted to take a test this Saturday. So.. cuttting my time in half. I didn't do it all in one night more like been skimming it for months. Again. I clearly am going about this the wrong way for no real reason other than I just want to tackle a test this Saturday. I think maybe my BSCI fail has led me to just want a quick win.-Daniel

Doable by January by a guy like you, you only have the upgrade i.e. the 648 and the pro exam i.e. 646.
Let us know how you go. -
Daniel333 Member Posts: 2,077 ■■■■■■□□□□Passed with an 883. If you think you know certificate authotities well enough. You probably dont. Review again, and then again. Also, make sure really know about the AD schema.-Daniel

Well, well, this is one of the reasons I like TechExams, you never know who you are going to see here.
Oh, and good point you will need a newer client exam. -
