IOS Compatibility info

Does anyone know where to find info on IOS Compatibility? For example where to find what is the latest IOS that is compatable with a 2621xm or a 1721? I have searched the cisco website and cant find anything.

GT-Rob Member Posts: 1,090A lot of it will depend on the memory you have. Im sure there is something on Cisco.com (feature navigator perhaps?), but I usually go to 3rd party resources via google first.

MentholMoose Member Posts: 1,525 ■■■■■■■■□□I think the Cisco Feature Navigator does what you want. You can find the IOS versions available for a platform, and determine the minimum supported RAM and flash. You may be able to use less RAM than what is listed, but YMMV.MentholMoose

tiersten Member Posts: 4,505If you just want to know what versions and feature sets are available for a particular router then create a basic guest account and log in. You can look at what is available in the download area with that. You won't be able to download any router IOS files however.
