Dear Friends
I wish u r fine ...... I am confused about something and i want a help from u ..... I will buy 2 APs AP-60 that i want to use them in (point-to-point)PTP mode(The scienario is i have 2 buildings and i want to connect them using 2 access points in PTP mode)

My question is: Can the access point AP-60 works as indoor AP (serve client and permit client assossiation to it) while working in PTP mode with the other access point ???

Thanks in advance

Have you checked with an Aruba sales associate?

I would assume because the antenna configuration for PTP and wide-area coverage are so different (dish/grid antenna vs. panel/dipole antenna) that one AP can't serve as both. However, only Aruba can say for sure.

Probably late on this, but I don't believe you can do this. Typically you are going to not only need an AP that can do 2 radios concurrently (AP65, AP70 for instance) but you're also going to need a mesh license for your controller, and you'll need to turn the "root" AP into a mesh portal. Good luck!
