Dual Boot Server 2003 + W7

I have a Dell Poweredge that has 2 (40GB) HDD in it, one HDD is running Server 2003. I was wondering if I could install Windows7 on the second HDD. Would there be any conflict or malfunctioning of OS? Please, help with any advice or tips you may have.

    Is this just for a test lab? I'd be a bit more hesitant to do this in production, but that doesn't like that's what the server is being used for.

    The newer OS should recognize the older one and configure the installation appropriately. I'd do a full backup just to be safe though.

    This is for a home Lab. I just want to make sure that one OS is does not take over the other.

    Why not just install Virtual PC or Virtual Server instead of dual booting?
