Hey everyone,
I have a questions about port states/roles under 802.1w.
When using RSTP, are you actually supposed to see "Discarding" under Role/Sts when you do a show spanning tree vlan x? I only see Root/FWD and ALTN/BLK.
Both switches are running rstp.
Output of show spanning-tree is:
Interface Role Sts Cost Prio.Nbr Type
---- ---
Fa0/23 Root FWD 19 128.23 P2p
Fa0/24 Altn BLK 19 128.24 P2p
Thank you.
