I am taking the VCP 4.0 tomorrow. I figure if I need to and fail it I can wait the 7 days and still take it on the 28th-30th. I hope to pass it tomorrow and have been reading all the whitepapers, reading and testing in my virtual lab.

pennystrader Member Posts: 155I had seen that reference card before Hero and it is alot of interesting information. Thanks for sending it as I had forgotten about it over the past few months.
Here is my list of what I have used to prepare.

pennystrader Member Posts: 155I passed the VCP yesterday. It was a harder test than the VCP 3.5 test for sure. I studied hard for it and am glad I got it knocked out before I had to take a class.

I've been wanting to take this but I thought you needed to take their training course before you sit for the exam (and the training course is expensive). -
HeroPsycho Inactive Imported Users Posts: 1,940Normally you do, but for those of us who are VCP3's, you could sit the exam and achieve the VCP4 cert without a class if you passed it before 1/31/10, hence why you see so many people sitting this right now.
Congrats. Definitely was more difficult than the VCP3 exam.Good luck to all! -
pennystrader Member Posts: 155Yeah it was definitely tougher than the VCP 3.0. Yeah I knocked it out so I did not have to pay for the class. I paid for my VCP 3.0 and spent $4K of my own money last year to get the VCP because I feel it is important and an wanted to do it.
I scored a 400 on it MentholMoose. I failed it a few weeks ago. I studied my butt off though to knock it out before the Jan 31st deadline.
