I loved working with Onforce because it was my chance to get hands on experience with mmy new A+ certification. While I did a great job I did oversleep one appointment and was suspended by Onfrce for one moth. I served that time and made up for my mistakes by working hard. I was working under a "supervisor" on onforce..... FYI supervisor my ass he didnt do anything but take his commission off my work.

Anyways I wanted to work on my own because getting paid for these orders by this guy took 3+ weeks. This way too I can start my own company. I do what Onforce tells me to do and then this happens:
Michael Heenan: Switching Profiles Welcome Michael Heenan! Please hold while we contact a representative. If a representative does not respond in a few seconds, then he/she is not available at this time.Organization ID: 0User ID: 116888Days Remaining: 120 You are now speaking with Alicia Nasson of Provider Support.
Alicia Nasson: Hi Michael
Michael Heenan: hi
Alicia Nasson: what can I help you with today?
Michael Heenan: My question is about being a pro under a supervisor and wanting to change to be an independent Alicia Nasson: you can ask the supervisor to delete you under his account Michael Heenan: I was a pro before but I have already had my boss delete my profile so I can become an indepent Alicia Nasson: and you can create a new pro supervisor account Michael Heenan: yes, but how can I transfer my bkgrd check/ certs to the new one Alicia Nasson: please email prosupport@onforce.com with your old ID and your new ID and make the written request that the background and certs be transferred Michael Heenan: yes and I got this message from them..... I was suspended long time but I served my time and made up for my mistake Michael Heenan: I will copy and paste Michael Heenan: Hello Michael,Due to you trying to create a new account while your current account was under suspension, OnForce policy is not to allow you back on the platform. Therefore, OnForce has made a decision to refrain from reinstating a relationship via a pro account with you.Regards,OnForce Market Support Michael Heenan: This cannot be right because I work for months AFTER the suspension was served Alicia Nasson: I have read the notes in your account Alicia Nasson: Unfortunately, we can not allow you back on the platform Michael Heenan: why?
Michael Heenan: I followed the instructions YOU (Onforce) gave me Alicia Nasson: it appears that you already emailed into Pro Support and you were given the same information Alicia Nasson: unfortunately there is nothing I can do Michael Heenan: This does not make ANY sense at ALL and I am requesting an answer Michael Heenan: I had a suspension in October I served it till November and returned to work orders since then Alicia Nasson: Due to you trying to create a new account while your current account was under suspension, OnForce policy is not to allow you back on the platform. Therefore, OnForce has made a decision to refrain from reinstating a relationship via a pro account with you.
Michael Heenan: Do you make the rules as you go along or is there something "written" that says this. How else was I suppose to get my own account with Onforce? Isnt this what a logical person would try to do. Really i need an answer I spent ALOT of my own money on Onforce and I will file a complaint with the BBB and more.
Alicia Nasson: I am unable to change that decision Michael Heenan: I am asking where in writing it says this policy if there is any?
Michael Heenan: And also why wouldnt you suspend me while I was working under a pro supervisor ?
Alicia Nasson: Under the policies on OnForce.com there is this statement
Alicia Nasson: Violation of any terms of OnForce's User Policy can result in immediate disciplinary action, which may include temporary or permanent suspension from the Platform and any and all appropriate legal actions. Participation in the OnForce community is a privilege, not a right, and may be terminated at our sole discretion.
Alicia Nasson: https://www.onforce.com/policies Michael Heenan: This is complete bullshit and I am filing a complaint Michael Heenan: good day

No -- it sounds more like you're resigning

You were suspended, caught trying to create another account while suspended, and then allowed to work under a Supervisor once you served your suspension.

It now appears that you don't want to work under a Supervisor anymore -- yet that seems to be the only way they are willing to let you do work for them.

You didn't follow their rules on top of already being suspended. Did you really think they were just going to let you do what ever you want? I would have fired you too.

I'll agree with the other responders. It sounds clear to me that you were suspended, violated a policy by trying to create and a new account, and understandably they don't want to work with you.

I don't know anything about OnForce other than what I've read on this site, however, I can tell you that like any business that wants to be successful, protecting their image is a priority.

Also, a bit of advice about going into business on your own....Payment terms are usually Net-30 or greater in some cases. I would consider getting paid 3 weeks after the work is complete very good.

OnForce was junk a few years ago because the jobs would be filled so fast by bots that noone ever had a real shot at getting any. Im surprised youve actually dont a job with them.

That being said, its one of the "lowest" IT gigs out there, from my perspective.

I would move on, but also adjust your work ethic and respect for an employer, any employer.

I wouldnt fire you for being late one day but talking back like that would be instant termination.

Why a 2 year thread about Onforce was resurrected when a new one was already on the front page- I will never know.

But what I do know, although the OP has been long gone, that is a prime example of what not to do. He was completely unprofessional.

    Old thread.

Kudos to Alicia Nasson. That couldn't have been an easy call, and she remained professional. :)

Michael probably learned from this. We all make mistakes.
