Passed with 986!

Hi All,

Finally had the exam this morning (Second time) and passed with a 986.

This one was 3.5 hrs long. Bloody stupid i tell ye, harder than the last time i took it.

Really know your clustering and PKI. Im sure ms included tons of non-exam related questions. weird but still.

Good luck to all those who are taking this one, its a right beast.

did your notes helped you? how many questions did you have? standard (50) - I hope this does not invalidate NDA.

I'm giving myself an extra week or two and kill this beat too

Three and a half hours long?!

They will have to supply a coffee break; or at least a bathroom break.

Yea, 3.5hrs long wasn't impressed by that; and that excludes all the into stuff and questionnaires. Id imagine you can go pee and get a cofee but you can't pause the exam.

Well, hopefully im not breaking the NDA. I had 63 questions, but at the start it says ms are putting questions that arent marked in the exam (same as most exams)

I cant say too much as you all know, but the exam was different thatn last time and seems updated?

anyway, 2nd shot will be good for you, and i had 50q's in my first exam.

dont get me wrong, i wasnt expecting that score. and yes, my notes probably got me 75% of the marks, 5% more than the exam requires.

an updated 293?? very interesting! Were all the questions still pages long?

well there were shorter ones, and still long ones. i had 2 different sims this time and i had 6 last time.

looks like theyve added updated questions for win 7.

cant say anything else honestly. I would reccommend my notes, they will help you a lot, but id also reccommend that you grip clustering and PKI as they were intensive. Doing the 291 if you havnt will benefit you greatly, and im sure there were simmilar questions from the 291 in this exam.

Yeh i probably missed about 2 questions. Weird how the exam was 3.5hrs and when i booked it the duration said 3hrs (or 180 mins, Which is the norm)

I have just booked my retake exam and guess what, the total time of the exam has been extended to accomodate the extra questions. This would indicate, that Microsoft has finally revised the test - hopefully for better.

I'll be taking this on Saturday (let your notes be with me )

I almost fell out of my chair. Tips from here like WEdge 1988 sheet helped.
63 questions, 3 or 4 sims; took 1.5 hours.
One questions did involve Windows 7 but I suspec that was one of the sepc. questions.

Congrats Wegde!!!! I am back after my 6 month break and now have your notes, so thanks for putting them together. I need to play catch up, some of the guys that I started this path with have either finished or almost done.....
