Question for those that bought Odom's book.

in CCNA & CCENT
It seems like the Boson Exam Simulator CD that comes with the book only lets me study the question in "Study Mode." It's not letting me do the Simulation mode. The box is grayed out and they want me to spend $100 to get Simulation mode.
What gives? That's not mentioned in the book. It doesn't mention having to pay extra.
Also, one other quick question. On the ICND1 exam, do the questions tell you how many of the answer choices you should pick i.e. (Choose 3 of the 6 choices below)?
Hopefully that second question can be answered without breaching what legal stuff there is.

Oh yeah. It does that on mine as well. I never even noticed that as I always selected a custom exam and clicked "Modify Settings" to create a custom exam. IMO thats all you need, there is no real need to pay them extra for ExSim.Blog : http://www.caerffili.co.uk/

Yeah, that's what I started doing - just going in and customizing it so that it runs like a simulated exam. -

yep it does tell you the number of answers per question in the icnd1/2 exam which iirc it doesn't on the books tests
also i found the books tests to be slightly harder then the real thing so if you can do well on the book you should be ok
