The Better Book Question
MikieMicron
Hello,
Please let me start off by saying thank you to you all that have contributed to these forums and the TechExams.net site in general. It has been a big help to me in my endeavor to get certified. Thank you.
I purchased "Network+ Guide to Networks" a book that was required for a Intro to Networking course I'd taken for the fall semester that just passed, which I completed. I believe that I am not ready to take the Network+ exam however, and need more time to study. But what I wanted to know is should I continue using Tamara Dean's Guide to Networks or should I exchange it for the Sybex CompTIA Network+ Study Guide that I hear and read so much about?
Thank you for your time.
Mike

I'm not sure those are the only two choices...
I've passed quite a few tests and I've found that it's rare that a single source gives me all I need to know. Very often getting the different perspective from other authors helps to clarify concepts for me.
In other words, instead of *exchanging* your book, you may want to pick up another book to supplement your studies. If the objective isn't clear to you from one book, turn to the topic in the other book.

Hi Mike,
Why don’t you apply on free online test for checking? Search on google and you will find many resources. It would be better to consult with some old students, they would provide some tips regarding this test.
