Hi Ladies and Gents

Just finish my CCENT exam today
And it was possibly the hardest exam I've taken...
Harder than even 70-291

I don't post often but I'd like to thank everybody on the CCNA forum
for asking and answering questions I've had myself.

congrats icon_smile.gif dont sweat the barely part a pass is a pass. Just make sure you brush up on things for the next stage icon_smile.gif
if I say something that can be taken one of two ways and one of them offends, I usually mean the other one :-)

    Congratulations.

I agree, Cisco exams seem much tougher than Microsofts.

    ICND2 next?

Congrats! I found ICND2 a lot less stressful than ICND1. I was a nervous wreck after CCENT, that time pressure gets to you.

    Congratulations!! icon_cheers.gif

ICND2 could be more fun if you're more configuration oriented. You're past most of the trivia and most of what you need to learn now should have direct hands on application. The more time spent doing labs, the easier ICND2 will be. :D

Don't let Blackninja tease you like thaticon_lol.gif

Yeah, even though the ICND2 is does contain more "stuff", you'll have less pressure. Most people say the first cisco exam is so nerve wracking the pressure gets to much.

Once you've learn the basics and everything on ICDN1 everything from then on should seem like a breeze, it's just remembering a **** load of syntax and knowing why it works like it does, and possible reasons it's broken XD
    ICND1 - Passed 25/01/10
    ICND2 - Passed 9/03/10

    Studying CCNA:S

Thanks again guy's for the support

I've spent the last few months studying with cisco net acad
and was surprised by the difficulty between the real exam and
the course material. Went in to the exam feeling quietly confident
but was almost positive that I had failed when waiting for my
final score. Maybe it was just nerves. I will finish my networking academy
studies in May. I'll sit the ICND2 then.

Maybe Security + ( before Comptia changes the cert shelf life thing)

I took and past Security+ this past week on a whim. I only bought the Mike Meyers Certification passport book last week for it and read through the whole book.

Just to strengthen the recurring theme here; I also barely passed the ICND1 last week. I was wrecked at the end of it. And I thought I was prepared.

On the up side; glad to know I'm not the only one. icon_smile.gif
