Hi All,
I'm joining the club, just came back for the testing center (I scored 805). This is surely THE BEAST. It took me 4 hours to kill it, once finished wasn't completely convinced I passed.
As everyone else in here I'm glad I have it under my belt.
What would you recommend as next 70-294 or 70-298? I'm not sure which way is better.
Anyaway good luck to anyone trying with this exam.

Todd Burrell Member Posts: 280I would recommend 294 and then 298. I took the tests in the order 290, 291, 293, 294, and 270 - and I'm now taking 298 and 299. After the 4 core classes the 270 test was a breeze. And 294 should not be bad to take right after 293 and you can use the 294 stuff in 298.
I used the Syngress book and MS Press books for 294 along with Preplogic and Ucertify. I would not recommend using Ucertify for this test as the material was not very relevant. But Preplogic was good and the MS Press CD with the book was also good. Transcender is also good for any of the tests.
Good luck... To me 294 was the hardest of the tests so far due to the quirky and strange way they asked the questions. -
motogpman Member Posts: 412Congrats on the pass!!!! I need to get this one finished. Took it once last year, failed with around the same score, then my second shot ran out. I have looked at 297/294 stuff and I think using all of those together will help, they seem to overlap and fill in gaps. Just my 2 cents.-WIP- (70-294 and 297)
Once MCSE 2k3 completed:
WGU: BS in IT, Design/Management
Finish MCITP:EA, CCNA, PMP by end of 2012
After that, take a much needed vacation!!!!!
