Passing and Failing 70-270 Exam

Hello,

I'm going to take the 270 exam next week, and I was just wanting some info about it. I believe that a pass mark is 700/1000, is that correct? I see people say a pass is 700 all the time, but I just wanted to know what it was out of.

Also, if I fail the exam how long do I need wait until i can take it again?

Thanks

I believe you are correct with 700/100 scale. You can retake the exam immediatly after you fail, however, if you fail a second time, you must wait at least two weeks before making your third attempt.

I'm pretty sure someone passed recently (either on here or on mcmcse.com) with 984? I think it's 700/1000 - but I could be wrong icon_confused.gif

according the my teacher and all the admissions people at my school, it's a 700 out of a possible 1000.... 300 being the lowest score.... I'm sure there's no point in asking, but are all the questions weighted the same and do you get partial credit for the choose all that apply questions? if everything I've heard is true and they do weight all the questions the same and they don't do any of the SAT scoring stuff, somewhere around a 60% would give you a 700+ score....
