I totally forgot I had this exam this morning until my phone went off with a calender reminder. Oops.

I didn't get any study time in at all, but I think my knowledge from using XP Mode/Virtual PC and my holdover knowledge from 643 might have gotten me through this one, but I just as easily could have failed. I had really no clue on the App-V/MED-V questions.

This exam was like revenge of the 643, with all the RDS questions

Yeah the RDS stuff was tough since I haven't used it since I took the 643. I didn't have time to study for this exam so I bombed the MED-V questions. On the rest I probably did OK, but I don't know if that is enough to pass.

I took it the afternoon after I passed the 70-656 MDOP exam. I actually studied more for this beta than I studied for that live exam. I needed a review of the RDS topics since I took the 649 upgrade exam way back in December 08.

The free MS Virtualization book doesn't come close to providing enough detail for this exam. The Mastering Microsoft Virtualzation book from Sybex was very useful for both this and the MDOP exam. I wish I would have spent more time on the VDI sections of the Sybex book. At least the App-V sections were shared between the exams, but that meant I also had some of the same challenges I had on the 656 exam.

I feel pretty good about the test. I think I passed with around an 800, but I'll have to wait a couple of months to find out. Thanks to Hyper-Me for posting the resources.

took the exam this morning.
Feel good about the result, propably a success.

The questions where really good about the RDP and APP-V stuff.
But the Med-V mmmm, should have put more time in that section

I took the exam yesterday. Found it quite hard to be honest!

Think I did pretty good on the Med-V and RDS questions, but I found a lot of the App-V and some of the RemoteApp questions really difficult. Probably kind of underestimated RemoteApp because I took the 643 and 647 recently..

Guess that's the downside of these TS exams.. you really got to know ALL the technologies involved.
