Do you guys pay that much for the transcender exams? I am preparing for a Net+ test, and I thought I was pretty well prepared untill I took the transcender demo and failed by 30 points. I've done well on other practice exams I've taken. Should I spend the $119 on the Transcender practice tests?

Transcenders are worth the money, but personally I think it's a bit overkill for CompTIA exams (great for MS exams though). I suggest reading some of the 'I passed' topics in our Network+ forum to see what other used to pass.
