BCMSN Passed!

Finally got round to booking last week and passed my first attempt on Monday with 848. I honestly didnt think I had passed. I found the exam really tough, even though I have put in heaps of study time and training. I scored really well (100%) on the STP side but only 50% on the voip side, which is an area I know I need to work on.

Training materials used include

4 day on site training
Cisco Press 4th Ed
CBT nuggets
Various online tutorials
30-50 hours lab

A small break now then onto BSCI, followed by TSHOOT.

All in all guys, this exam is not as easy as some people say. Put the hours and study hard as its really tough - or maybe its just me icon_cheers.gif

    Congrats!

I'm working on BCMSN now. I'm finding it to be much less mentally stimulating than BSCI.

Yep, it's a pretty mind numbing exam. So mind numbing in fact that I've basically refused to get through my review to take the damn exam. Nothing in it seems that difficult, wireless MAYBE, but it IS boring. BSCI is exponentially more interesting. I think I'm just going to schedule it and hope for the best because I never want to see this book again.

Congrats, it was not nearly as easy for me as some others here have said. I did find it interesting though, and the topics thoroughly prepared me for the very same topics in the CCIE so far. It's pretty much been review, so it was definitely a good investment of time. Good luck with the BSCI, that was the one that almost killed me lol. It was a beast, dont underestimate it by all means. Prepare until you think you're ready, then prepare some more.
