I was just wondering if anyone has any thoughts of one vs. the other. I would definately like to hear from anyone that has had experience with both. One of the highlights I see with city/county, at least in my area, is they have a definate andvancement track. ie. network specialist 1, network specialist 2, etc. Any comments are greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I've done both..and then some..lol. I've worked retail(bench tech), contract/consultant and I'm currently working with the county(perm/full time). I think the best by far is working for the county, I don't worry about being laid off or not making my time (40 hours/wk). There's room for me to move up & we'll always working on something different. If you have the exp. & opp. to get a county/city job, go for it(IMO).
Good Luck!Wars not make one great. Coffee makes one Great!
