Why do you have that 2500 series router racked that way around?

It's probably the access server and most (if not all) of the console ports are probably on that side of the rack -- so it cuts down on cable clutter and any octopus cable length issues.

Very nice. What is the equipment list. I am trying to put together a home lab as well but none of the equipment i can get my hands on supports MPLS Switching or IPv6. The IPv6 can be corrected with memory/IOS upgrade but the MPLS Switching is a platform limitation.

Any suggestions? Any alternatives to GNS3?

    1 - 1841
    4 - 2651xm
    1 - 2621xm
    3 - 3745
    4 - 3640
    1 - 3550
    2 - 3560
    1 - 3750

a **** load of seria in everything, and fast Ethernet in the 3640s.

Memory maxed in them all apart from the 1841.

i think as far as MPLS gos it will run on most with limited features apart from the 1841 who should do it all.

I would like to add another 1841 or 2200, but i will see how the cash flow gos.

Update swapped out the 3550 for another 3750.

That's it no more money going to be spent.

    :) i don't know if i truthfully believe myself saying that ;)
