Sean Odom's Windows 7, Configuring

I browsed through the pages and noticed that there are some topics on the book that are not really in the 70-680 exam' s objective. So far, I only got the MS Press by Ian and Orin and Sean Odom' s book. Is Sean Odom's book for 70-680 worth reading?(dont' get me wrong :)) Is there any other book that you could recommend? Thanks guys.

Not really sadly. It isnt a book you would use to prepare for this exam or the best reference book for Windows 7. The MSPress book for this exam is the way to go, just make sure you read the errata for it.

I bought the Sean Odom's book for 70-680, and it was a complete waste of money. Stay away from it, it is useless and the quality is sub-par.

Well I don't know about you lot but may be I am more experienced than I thought, I used this book to pass the exam as I found the training course useless and devoid of relevant information.

The MS training book was useless read like a kids DIY manual.

Sean's book was on par with the exam and the practise questions were very similar in style to the MS exam questions.

Like I said the only book I read, but if you all think it was awful I must be more experienced than I anticipated.

Going to get more of Sean's books.
    My Pleasure.

To each their own....I have passed all of the MCSE exams, the Win7 exam, Cisco exams, and Security+. Of all of the books I have read, I found this one prepared me the least.
