Exam has definitely changed....

Today I took my first stab at upgrading my cert for Win2k3. Needless to say, I failed my exam today with a pitiful 452.

For the past week and a half I read through the Microsoft Press upgrading exam book (twice and took notes) and used the practice test that came on the CD. The book has pretty decent information. I haven't read thoroughly through the DNS and that's where my weakness was. I read through the braindumps sites and about 40 of the questions that were on my exam were on the ****, so that should tell you something. Most of the ones that weren't were new DNS questions.

Anyway, from what I gather, each question is weighted differently and it seems that DNS is weighted heavier than the other questions. My coworker said that he ran across something saying that if you fail a single section you fail the exam too. Crazy. Anyway, I'm not going to give up. I'm planning on taking it again next week after a bit more review.

Maybe he should have gotten the newer questions?

You would think if you are proficient in 2k that DNS should be a cake walk.
