Hey,
Next on my list is SQL server 2008, I've got the Microsoft course books and my CBT nuggets subscription so I've a decent mix, the MS books are good from a T-SQL standpoint and CBT Nuggets is a bit more gui focused.
One thing that I've heard was that the SQl 2005 DBA street smarts book was really good from a real world perspective and you can get a good insight into how other DBAs would do things. Can anyone confirm/deny the book as a good resource?
I'm going to be looking through the other guides previously posted by users as well.
Cheers

It was probably one of your posts before that got me thinking about that book. Anyway I've ordered it from Amazon so I'll get on it pretty soon.
