Afternoon Guys,
Failed on Friday with a 778 with the following percentages
Implement Vlan 100%
STP 90%
Implement Inter Vlan Routing 60%
Implement Gateway redundancy technologies 37%
Describe and configure Wireless Clients 60%
Describe and configure Security features in a SW NW 62%
Configure Support for voice 75%
Not bad for the first time, Scheduled for 3 weeks from now as i know i will pass it. Kinda angry i failed. Labs weren't the problem.
Would like to know any strategies besides the "study what you missed". Is there anything else?
Thanks for the replies

I would read up on them again, and do all the labbing you can. I've found on cisco exams that so many times in the past I missed a question because I wasn't familiar with the output of a command or something along those lines. Now when I study, I learn to verify things with as many commands as I can, because that's one easy way to fail, IMO.
As for wireless, for myself, and a lot of other people, there's not much you can do on that front other than just reading a lot. To be honest I think if you just continue reviewing, maybe watch some videos (others may have recommendations, I've only bought the CBT Nuggets CCIE series, not the CCNP ones)...I'm confident you'll pass on your next attempt with your scores, as long as you keep your momentum up. -
billscott92787 Member Posts: 933I totally agree with MRock4 100%. Touch up and re-read those areas that you did the worst on, this time you should be able to pass, if you review those weaker areas. That's what I did on my BSCI and it worked out the 2nd time

The Cisco Press ROUTE Foundation book won't be out until June.... but I doubt you can (or want) to stretch you BCMSN Celebration out until then.
If you can beat the exam retirement deadline, then the current BSCI makes sense since the Cisco Press books are out there now.:mike: Cisco Certifications -- Collect the Entire Set!
