I am not a network administrator, so take what I say with a grain of salt -- the best study material I can think of is this: create your own network to match whatever book you are working from, and then duplicate the problems in your personal network.

To me the best is hands on work, nothing else comes close.

You might have to get creative - take for example me (currently chasing the 70-290), I have a Windows XP Home edition laptop that I installed Sun's Virtual Box. Inside the Virtual Box I installed W2K3 Server, which is what I practice on.

    Hope this helps some

Usually, it is Network+ followed by Security+. Of course, there is no set approach to this. You can pursue Security+ and go for A+ last.
    Passed on 2/20: Network+, Score - 840
    Next: Security+ and Server+

Define network administrator. It means different things to different people. My job title is Network Administrator but really I am a Net Admin and a Sys Admin and a DBA.

And CCNA of course, if you're utilising Cisco gear.
